Barbara Cohen our local Buddhist joins other faith & belief speakers at Weymouth College faith days, often coming in to hold enrichment training. She holds meetings at 7.45pm on Thursdays at 3 New Close Gardens, Rodwell for support with the practice of Buddhism.

Newcomers are required to telephone before attending a meeting 01305 786821. Meeting includes chanting, meditation, readings, discussion and tea. We have close connections with a Theravadin Buddhist monastery in Devon, and occasional visits from a monk of the Thai Forest Sangha Tradition.

Dorchester the county town also has a Shambla Meditation group
